Nisan Lamden is the founder of a multi-use beauty product called Dual-Shave and is a highly successful activist who has made and continues to make countless contributions to his community. Nisan is a certified and licensed cosmetologist based in Los Angeles, California who specializes in hair, skin and nail care.
Nisan Lamden began his career as a certified diamond grader, dealer and jeweler. He has licenses and degrees from UCLA and Gemological Institute of America. Nisan spent 14 years in the industry and decided to pursue a growing passion in cosmetology. His talents have taken him to work at some of the most famous salons in California as well as the number-one ranked salon in Beverly Hills before starting his own company.
Throughout his cosmetology career Nisan witnessed fellow stylists produce their own products by mimicking their favorite products and putting their own name and labels on the resulting product. Nisan’s activism is not limited to animals by any means. Nisan was instrumental in the distribution and signing of the anti-plastic straws petition that was delivered to, accepted and put in motion by Starbucks. This petition has resulted in a large decrease in the amount of plastic Starbucks customers are putting into the environment and will be a beacon of positivity for those seeking to achieve similar results with other companies. Nisan is currently a prominent member of a movement that is striving to provide FedEx drivers with AC and heat in their trucks. FedEx drivers currently have no way of battling temperature, which in communities with extreme heat waves or freezing temperatures these conditions can quickly result in extremely dangerous situations. Nisan Lamden will no doubt continue to achieve successes for any cause he pursues and will quickly become even more of an inspiration in his community and beyond.
